Privacy policy

Short version: the application works on your computer and does not send your models anywhere; this website uses no cookies and no analytics.

1. Who is responsible

2. The application

  • Isometra Workbench runs locally. Models, drawings, comments and projects stay on your computer; we do not receive or store them.
  • The licence is a file on your computer. The Software checks it there and does not contact us to do so.
  • The Software keeps a small record of when a trial started, on your computer only.

3. This website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts. Everything the site needs is served from our own domain.
  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare. As with any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

4. When you write to us

If you email [email protected] we use your email address and what you tell us to answer you, to provide support and, if you buy, to manage your licence. Email to this address is forwarded to our mailbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail).

5. When you buy

Payments are handled by a payment provider, which processes your payment details and billing information, sends the invoice and, depending on its role, acts as seller of record. We receive the data needed to issue and manage your licence: your name, company, email address, the licence details and the order. We do not receive your card details. The provider’s own privacy policy applies to what it processes.

6. Why we use data, and for how long

  • To deliver what you asked for (answering you, issuing and renewing a licence, support): while the relationship lasts.
  • To meet legal duties (invoicing, tax and accounting records): for the period the law requires, generally several years.
  • Legitimate interest (keeping the site secure): logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

7. Who else sees it

Only the service providers named above (Cloudflare for hosting and email forwarding, Google for the mailbox, the payment provider) and, where the law requires it, authorities. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards the law provides, such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority of your country; in Portugal this is the CNPD (cnpd.pt).

9. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for customers, tell you by email.
